Caption: F and E Real Estate. Animal buyers are very demanding. The bears want a home with a first-rate security system. They were rattled by that Goldilocks break-in. And having lights that automatically turn on and off in every room is a top priority for the sloths. This house needs some work before the sale is finalized. The mice buying it want holes punched in the walls. And this house is solid with a roof that doesn't leak and a basement that stays dry. So I promised the duck buyers we'd fix that right away.

Caption: Ernie is obsessed with baseball. Starting with "Catcher in the Rye," he thinks all the books we'll be reading in our book club are about the game. Surely Hemmingway's "A Farewell to Arms" is about pitchers retiring and leaving their teammates. Maybe "The Color Purple" is about the Colorado Rockies and their uniforms. It's likely Orwell's "1984" chronicles the Detroit Tigers championship season. And "Gone with the Wind"? It must be set on a blustery Chicago day with lots of home runs being hit at Wrigley Field!

Caption: Why are we here, Michael? First, doc, thank you for seeing me on Christmas Eve. Dr. Noodle. I'm having a crisis. There we were, sitting around the crackling fire, eggnog in hand. We were roasting chestnuts over the open fire. We were singing carols. We'd opened several of the gifts already. That's when the owners came home early. We jumped out the window but I'm pretty sure Vic left his crowbar behind. I see. So you want to know if turning yourself in would make you feel better? I want you to tell anyone who asks, the therapy sessions began at 4 a.m.
