What'd you mean when you called it the Republican Supreme Court? They're not all Republicans. Ever since the Republicans voted as a bloc in 2000 to end the recount and make Bush president … and with all the 5 to 4 votes … it's become increasingly clear that the court is a political body, just like Congress. There's no point in pretending it's still some unbiased arbiter of justice. Nothing's legitimate anymore. This is just like the last days of Rome.

They're purging voters in how many states? Way more than you'd think. As soon as the Republican Supreme Court ok'd it … every state with a history of discrimination at the polls started purging voters way more than usual. Those states purged millions of voters just before the 2016 election. It disproportionately impacted minorities. But I'm sure that part was just coincidence. I hate sarcasm Mondays.

So … you took it pretty hard when Judge Boosie Groperman got confirmed for the state Supreme Court. No I didn't. It's just … his supporters kept saying a man shouldn't be held responsible for what he did when he was seventeen. They got their way. And that sent a message. That's all I'm saying. I still don't agree that we should put all 17-year-olds on house arrest, Lemont. They got the green light. It's us against them, now.

Sir, I saw you assigned the Judge Groperman account to Dick Fink. That's my account, sir. Why would you do that? Now that Groperman's been accused of attacking a woman, I thought maybe you would be more comfortable not handling his P.R. campaign. I see. Are you sure it's not because you're afraid I'll sabotage the campaign to make sure the state senate rejects his nomination? Yayle. I would never even think of doing such a thing. Clearly not. All cretins are innocent until proven guilty.

I'm heading to DC to report on the Democratic party's filibuster against that judge Trump's appointed to the stolen Supreme Court seat. And then I'm going to cover how they all boldly signed on to Bernie Sanders' Medicare-for-All bill. Wait … are you being sarcastic? Then I'm going to cover their stunning refusal to accept any more Wall Street bribes.

At a run-down bar in Canada, Lemont runs into himself from an alternate reality. In 2013, the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act … because racism was over. Three years later, America elects a white supremacist sympathizer for president. On the bright side, now I don't feel so bad about MY America electing President Kardashian. Trade?

Donald Trump's not going to win. He's a joke. Not worried about him. That's why you should worry about him!!! What do you mean? Every time an impossible candidate wins, it's because people "didn't worry about him." No one worried about Nixon. Nixon was a has-been. No one worried about Reagan. Reagan was a joke. Barack Obama ... he was a nobody. Who would Trump put on the Supreme Court: Judge Judy? Every time you say that, the Trump smiles. |

I'm tired of race-baiters claiming the real purpose of voter ID laws is to suppress the black vote. I mean, it's probably just a coincidence those laws were enacted the moment the Supreme Court killed part of the 1965 Voting Rights Act. You know what else is just a big coincidence? What's that? Most of those states were once part of the Confederacy and prevented blacks from voting until the Voting Rights Act of 1965. You know how sometimes you don’t realize how wrong something you're doing is till you stop doing it? That's how I felt when the supreme court ruled we can't execute prisoners with "mental retardation" just because their IQ is over 70. Why on earth were we using an IQ over 70 to excuse killing the mentally challenged? What kind of incentive is that for anyone to do well on standardized tests? |

I'm tired of people blaming republicans for the government shutdown. It's both sides' fault. I mean, libs refused to negotiate Obamacare. They insisted it was a done deal. Thank God For Culture Clash. SINCE WHEN has something been "done" just because it was passed by both houses of congress, signed into law by the president, and upheld by the Supreme Court? Since 1787. You're not supposed to answer hypothetical questions. |

What's wrong, Lemont? I wish the Supreme Court would make up it's mind. Over the course of 24 hours, there were a few 5-4 decisions. One made it harder for minorities to vote … … But others made it possible for gay couples in California to marry, and for gay married couples to receive federal benefits. Now I don't know whether they're ENLIGHTENED by a margin of 5-4, or BUTTHEADED by a margin of 5-4. |

In other news, the Supreme Court has struck down the Defense of Marriage Act. DOMA prevented gay married couples from receiving the same federal benefits as straight couples. The court ruled 5-4 that writing inequality into the federal code was unconstitutional. In unrelated news, the court ruled t5-4 that people need to stop whining about all the 5-4 decisions. |

IN a 5-4 decision, the Supreme Court has ruled that racism is over. In a related ruling they've gutted the 1965 Voting Rights Act. Apparently fifty years of making it harder for former Jim Crow states to prevent minorities from voting seems to have done the trick. What was that, Chad? Oh ... My bad ... The court ruled that NOTICING racism is over. The court has left the NOTICING of noticing racism intact. |

I'm tired of people complaining about the Supreme Court's "Citizens United" ruling. The court did not give out elections to the highest bidder. They simply reminded us that the first amendment applies to corporations and unions, because corporations and unions are people. If you prick them, do they not bleed? No. If you tickle them, do they not laugh? No. If they kill people, do they not go to jail? No. |
