Caption: At the refugee internment camp. I feel for the babies and their asylum-seeking parents. Most fled for their lives, only to have their families ripped apart. And when they're deported, many of those men, women and children will face certain doom. I've never known you to be so compassionate, boss. Most of them couldn't use any vast savings to bribe stooges - I mean, their connections on the city council - to donate a condemned storefront so they could open a new cafe once they're smuggled out of jail. VERY BAD MAN. Times like these make me conscious of my privilege.

Caption: Why do I even are whether Rihanna wants to take Chris Brown back? Why would I care about some rich, privileged celebrity? The "celebrity" is a hybrid species. The person is only a small part. The larger part is the reflection of us we see in them. Of course we care ... Their brilliance makes us proud of us. Their failures make us ashamed of ourselves. Celebrities don't exist in a vacuum. Celebrities don't even touch vacuums. PhD.

Caption: 2011. Civil libertarians are upset at how often President Obama has asserted the "state secrets privilege." Some things should be secret, but still it goes to show how this president is way too secretive. That's proof he's subverting our democracy. You're just being paranoid. 2008. Civil libertarians are upset at how often President Bush has asserted the "state secret's privilege." Some things should be secret, but still it goes to show how this president is way too secretive. Caption: In slavery days, masters sometimes let their slaves get jobs of their own. But they had to give their earnings to their masters, who got to decide how much the slave could keep. That is a good point. But I still think roads and bridges that don't fall down would be a good thing. Tax slave.

Caption: The ghost of Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall is haunting Clarence Thomas. No, we have not killed Brown v. Board of Education. In fact, our ruling is based on the principles of Brown, and of Martin Luther King, Jr. We have a dream… …that one day a Black child and a White child can hold hands together... ...provided they can both afford to live near the same school. I'm paraphrasing, of course.

Caption: Mr. Cheney, why do you say the Vice President's not part of the Executive Branch? Because the VP casts tie-breaking votes in the Senate. But the Constitution talks about the VP in Article 2, the EXECUTIVE BRANCH article. That doesn't mean anything. Your office is in the White House. How'd you like to be left behind, @#$%.

Caption: PS-911 has a new substitute teacher. The vice president's office is NOT AN ENTITY within the Executive Branch. Huh? Which means it's not bound by the same secrecy rules as the rest of the Executive Branch. So if it turns out that the VP had something to do with outing a covert CIA agent, it's no biggie. Just a hypothetical example, of course. What's Mr. Cheney talking about?

Caption: In other news, The President was found today. Here to discuss the matter, the detective who tracked down the commander in chief. It was a fairly easy trail to follow, Wolf. The man left signing statements all over town. At Arby's, he'd amended several menus and the ladies' room sign. Finally caught 'im at the National Archives with wite-out and a sharpie. Amazing. He was muttering "Me, the people," to himself.

Chaos, Wolf. Laws passed by Congress will go without being rewritten at the last minute by the President, for one thing. Laws may actually end up meaning what they way they mean. Unthinkable.

Caption: In other news, Congress is accusing the executive branch of violating the separation of powers. 'Bout time. Is this about the 750 laws the White House ignored? Is this about their imprisoning folks in secret jails without trials, or spying on Americans without a warrant? Congress demands the Justice Department stop searching the offices of Congressmen accused on taking bribes.

Caption: At least 11 million undocumented immigrants live in the United States, in violation of the law. Horrible! They should all be rounded up and deported. They're breaking the law, and no society can survive if people don't respect the law. It's not that big a deal. President Bush authorized spying on Americans without having to get a warrant, in violation of the law. Horrible! Hw should be impeached. He's breaking the law, and no society can survive if people don't respect the law. It's not that big a deal. Thank God for culture clash.
