Caption: Armstrong, an unmarked truck just delivered a pallet of mystery meat. Turkey. It doesn't look like turkey. It looks more like some sort of dehydrated pigeon. What's it matter? If we slap it in a sandwich, smother it in "gravy," and label it "turkey," customers won't know the difference. Wait, did you just think quotes around the word gravy? "no."

Caption: Warner Brothers put several whole scenes from "Justice League" up on Youtube. Wrong move. Ruins the mystery. To market a movie like this, one must be a mystery. An enigma. A reserved figure who gives the impression of a beast with rippling muscles lurking just below the veneer of a gentleman. Wait ... isn't that last part from your self-help book "Randy's Guide to Becoming a Mysterious Man"? You'd be surprised at how universally applicable these principles are, little buddy. Anyway, I feel like I've already seen the whole movie. Bored now.

Caption: The mummified remains of about 40 Buddhist monks were discovered in China, Mongolia and India. All the mummies were found sitting in the lotus position. Many believe that these monks sat so still, meditated for so long, and slowed their heart rates and body functions so much that they became mummified alive ... and they believe that whether those mummies are 200, 600, or 1,000 years old ... they're still alive. Where'd you hear all that? "Strange Mysteries." It's a Youtube channel. I wrote to them to suggest they do a show on whether playing Xbox for five hours a night is the same things as meditating. I'd hate to accidentally mummify myself. You have been looking a little ashy lately.

Caption: I've got this mystery pain in the side of my face. That ever happen to you? Never. Every pain I've ever had has been accounted for. Test me. Ok … back pain? The year was 2003. I'd just rescued a horse from a mudslide. But her mate got jealous and kicked me in the back. I'm going to leave here feeling inadequate, aren't I? Also, 1997: After I rescued a surfer from its tentacles, a grumpy giant octopus sought revenge.

Caption: I hear they finally identified the wreckage of Amelia Earhart's plane. Finally! It took them long enough! I planted that fake wreckage way back in 1937! And it wasn't easy! In '37, the tiny atoll of Nikumaroro was hard to reach. I had to take two rafts and a bus. You, uh ... you don't believe her ... do you? Almost definitely not.

Caption: It just occurred to me, I don’t know if you're a republican or democrat. That's right, little buddy. If someone can easily tell what your politics are, then the mystery is all gone. You become a stereotype to them; and no matter what you say, they'll think "I knew he was going to say that" because they'll twist it to fit into their preconceived opinion about you. Plus it cuts your dating pool in half. I knew you were gonna say something like that.

You must present yourself as a tantalizing puzzle that your date will be dying to solve. But I already Facebooked her my whole life story. Should I tell her I was hacked? The love doctor is closed.

Caption: That book was so cliché. Can you believe the butler actually did it? He did? Oh. I'm sorry. Had you not finished the book? Did I, the person you forgot to tip for the last five years, totally and completely ruin your whole entire day? I'M ABOUT TO TIP YOU LIKE A COW! I've read every book on your Amazon wish list.

Caption: The moon used to be a ghostly, unreachable companion in the night sky. Men and women would gaze at it at night, and its mystery would get them in the mood for lovin'. House of Java . Net Cybercafe. Then NASA had to go louse it all up by sending people there. It took decades of us giving up and abandoning the moon for it to start to seem untouchable again. Just last year, it finally regained its magic ... Then China went and landed on it. I still don't think you can sue China.

Caption: Know what I like about you, Randy? You're a real man. Thank you. See what I mean? Most "men" today wouldn't have just said "thank you." Simple responses create an air of mystery. "Is he hiding his thoughts, or is he too dumb to put more than two words together?" real men leave us guessing. Hmph. See what I mean? Most "men" today have lost the art of using the primitive grunt to project an air of power. Furthermore, most men today don't know how to take back-handed compliments in stride. Hmph. Take notes, losers! Talking to her can put hair on a man's chest.
