Millions of kids would probably lose health insurance if the Affordable Care Act were replaced. My mom can't afford my medicine anymore. Your mom is a loser. Meanwhile, Syrian leader Bashar Al-Assad has brutally attacked civilians with chemical weapons. God forbid innocent children are hurt by their own president!

Caption: A U.S. military training exercise has become the subject of a huge conspiracy theory. The feds are gonna invade Texas, cause a false flag economic collapse, seize our guns, and declare martial law! Infowars. (Yes, they actually believe this). But wait, there's more! Five closed Wal-marts will house invading troops from China. Underground tunnels will be used as bases. Walmart. What's underneath the Wal-marts?! One man claims to have seen shackles in train cars moving through Texas. Those are for snatch-and-grabs of key resistance figures. Key resistance figure. Of course, the Texas governor said: You people crazy! Just kidding! He's sending the state guard to monitor the military! But how do you know they're not in on it?

Caption: Thought experiment: Al Qaeda admits to torturing U.S. captives. How do American's respond? Taliban shocker. Rectal feeding of Navy Seals. I'm sure they were just patriots defending their caliphate! Army Ranger chained to ceiling, kept awake for a week. That's enhanced interrogation, not torture! An American was doused with water and left to die of hypothermia on a dungeon floor. Al Qaeda torture. In fairness, you have to consider the whole context of the time. U.S. troops say they were locking in coffin-like boxes and endured countless near-drownings. The Taliban says it was legal, so it's ok with me.

Now that Iraq is falling apart, do you regret starting the war in the first place? Ah, my child, but the past does not exist - only the present. And what I see at this moment is a bloodbath in Iraq and Obama in the White House. Yes, but many people warned of civil war - Please, you must empty your mind of thought. Only then will you see clearly that I am still to be taken seriously. All right. So if a puppet government falls in the desert and the whole world is around to witness it, does it make a sound? Yes, it goes: O ... baa ... maa ... O ... baaa ... maaa ...

Caption: Slowpoke. Nation Stunned by Display of Competence. Our top story tonight: Millions of Americans are in shock that, after a decade of economic, environmental, and military FUBARS, we managed to do something right. OSAMASHOCK! "Emergency medical technicians are working round the clock to revive dazed and confused citizens." Bin Laden ... DEAD?!? We MUST have screwed the pooch somehow! Have a look at this cost-of-war counter. It'll bring you back to reality. "Dr. Alice Fernweaver, professor of western fubology, argues that killing Bin Laden is not necessarily at odds with our normal bumbling idiocy." The 21st century has been a nonstop series of clusterf#cks and epic fails resulting in the destruction of everything we touched. It was only a matter of time before we destroyed Bin Laden too. "Scientists predict that, at this rate, the next act of competence will occur in the year 2022." Our models indicate that that is the year we may finally stop bombing Afghanistan, or start addressing global warming. If we make it that long.

Caption: Slowpoke. So the senate failed to end the ban on gays in the military. But did you know the senate has a "Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell" policy of it's own? Any senator proven to be intelligent is kicked out. You're ruining morale, brainiac! BOOT! In fact, many members go out of their way to prove they are blithering idiots. Global warming is a hoax. We must reduce the deficit AND keep Bush's tax cuts for the wealthy! I'm doing the Lord's work. Other's are suspected of being intelligent, but they won't submit to an IQ test! That Al Franken really sets off my smart-dar! Unfortunately, a national campaign to let smart people openly serve was recently filibustered. It's an election year! What would my constituents say if they knew I supported flaming intellectuals?

Caption: Slowpoke. Are you PETRAEUSLY CORRECT? The Senate recently passed a resolution condemning an advertisement that dared to criticize General Petraeus. Confused about what you can and can't say about members of the military? I'm Professor Perkins, and I'm here to help! DO question the patriotism of a triple-amputee Vietnam vet, as the GOP did in attack ads against Sen. Max Cleland. Max Cleland claims he has the courage to lead ... But he's really Osama's best ho! DON'T dare point out that Gen. Petraeus has poppy seeds stuck in his teeth from his breakfast bagel. We're making progress in Anbar! DO mock John Kerry's wounds from Vietnam by passing out "Purple Heart Band-aids" at the Republican National Convention. Kerry got a widdle boo-boo! Snort! DON'T drop a newspaper featuring a photo of Petraeus on the floor. If you do, you must kiss it! I am SO sorry! DO dismiss the soldiers who wrote an op-ed in the New York Times that contradicted Petraeus' claims.* It was a liberal plot. Whatever you do, DON'T draw the general as Bush's leg-humping lapdog! Gen. Poodlus. Down, boy! This is a big no-no! Pfut. Congressional testimony. *Two of whom are now dead.

Caption: Slowpoke. So … We've spent $339 billion so far on a war justified by trumped-up intelligence that has killed 2,826 Americans and probably hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, made Iraq radioactive with depleted uranium, and caused civil war - only to make terrorism worse. Heck, we may as well have spent that money on ... Wake me u before you go go! Six copies of "Michael Bolton Sings Wham!" for every person on Earth. (Note: May incite jihad.) Installing solid gold Cheney as new moon of Mars. Okay ... 339 billion says the chicken comes to me first. A stupid drunken bet with Putin. Oh my! A giant but made of 339 billion dollars. Our hypothesis that it burns was correct! A giant butt made of 339 billion dollars set on fire.
