Caption: We got a letter from the Pitzers. The Pitzers? I don’t know any Pitzers. Oh, you do too! They're the couple we met on our vacation to Yellowstone. I don’t remember them. Yes, you do. The husband liked to fish, so you and he talked about fishing. It doesn't ring a bell. You remember him, he was tall and he told lots of jokes, remember? Was he that guy that made a pass at you, and then I challenged him to a duel and he ran away like a scared rabbit? No. That has never happened, ever. Good. I hate that guy.

Caption: What are you looking at, Opal? One of our old photo albums. It's amazing. At the time these photos were taken I hated the way I looked in them. But looking at them now I think, wow, I wish I still looked that good! Oh, I don’t know. I think the older you get, the better-looking you get. Oh, you're sweet! Smack! Caption: My wife has started using sea salt instead of regular table salt. She says it tastes better. I say salt is salt. For as long as I can remember we've used regular table salt, now suddenly it’s not good enough anymore. Is that crazy or what? I prefer kosher salt myself. Although I also like Fleur De Sel and, on special occasions, Himalayan pink salt. Salt snob!

Caption: Oh, good, you're back. Did you get the tomato sauce? Oops! I knew I was forgetting something. That's what I sent you to the store for . . . Tomato sauce! Sorry about that, but look . . . I found my favorite brand of sardines! They're hard to find and they were on sale! Sardines? Why do you always think we need sardines? We already have a pantry full of them. I believe if you find something you like, you should buy a lifetime supply, because they're probably going to stop making it. Yeah, well, to me, one can of those things is a lifetime supply.
