Caption: "Famous-guy deaths" don't happen in threes, Lemont, so you're not next. And even if they did, it wasn't just Ford and James Brown who died … Raul Velasco was famous all over Latin America, and he died too. He did? That's great! What am I saying? I hardly know this guy, God.

Caption: Famous-guy deaths happen in threes, Susan. And now that I'm a blogger, my name's out there in the public consciousness. James Brown: Famous. Died. President Ford: Famous. Died. I could be next! I don't think you have anything to worry about, Lemont. Why? You mean a third famous guy already died? Um, yes, that's exactly what I mean. Fame is such a double-edged sword.

Caption: Notice how we only supposed to speak well of the dead, Big L? Yeah. When Gerald Ford died, the media spoke of his pardoning Nixon as "healing" instead of as Ford saying presidents are above the law. Yeh, an' when James Brown died, almost no one mentioned his troubles wit' the law. What have you done, Clyde/ Someday it won't matter, Dawg.
