It's time for the Confederate flag to go. We agree, for once. Well when an evil racist who loves the flag kills nine churchgoers just because they're black … I have to acknowledge the flag's been misappropriated. What do you mean, "misappropriated"? It was always the symbol of people who fought for slavery. There's nothing not racist about it. That's like saying neo-Nazis are "misappropriating" the swastika. I AM keeping my Confederate belt buckle, though. Time. |

I don’t believe we ever really landed on the moon. Of course we did, Clad. My mom watched it like 40 seconds ago, when she was just a kid. She said when Neilium Armstrongium planted our flag on the moon, it was the most profound moment in the history of fungi. This flag will stand until the end of time. Scratch scritch scratch. My butt itches. (Originally published in 2009). |

Mainstream Media. John McCain is a MAVERICK. He's not afraid to go against his own party! But his home-state paper says he almost never voted against his own party's interests. Wait…what? Nothing. Say, I want you to meet-- Barack Obama is a Muslim. A Muslim with a crazy Christian pastor. He doesn't sing the anthem or wear a flag pin in the shower. He's also an illegal immigrant from some place called "Hawaii." ...My twin brother. The Internet. I'd shake hands but that transmits Alzheimers. |

Men. Hmph! I know what you mean, girl. They always leave. Mine left months ago. Said the American people were smart enough to recognize true patriotism comes from actions, not from lapel jewelry. Huh? Hi. I'm Barack Obama's flag pin. Yo. Dude. What exactly is in this cocoa? Ha! They always learn their lesson in the end, huh? |

Senator Butcherman's "Throw all Americans into a Great Big Volcano Act" is turning out to be unpopular. Despite the magic flag pin he always wears, voters are starting to see him as being anti-American. Aides promise "The Senator will make changes to win the support of the American people." Um... you missed a spot, sir. |

Senator Butcherman, some argue that your proposal to throw all Americans into "A Great Big Volcano"… …may actually be bad for America. Well, those folks just aren't seeing the big picture, Wolf. What big picture? This one of me with several school children and a dog. All wearing flag pins, I see. |

In other news, Senator Butcherman's new "Throw all Americans into a Volcano Act"… …has some questioning his patriotism. Senator Butcherman, thanks for joining us. Wolf, questioning my patriotism is nuts. Senator, they say death by volcano is anti-American. Yes, but they're obviously overlooking this flag pin on my shirt. |

Congress? This is Lemont Brown from the Courier. We have outrageous energy prices, over 40 million uninsured, our voting machines are failing every test, and our high-paying jobs are going overseas. You've ignored all that, but wasted weeks talking about flag-burning and gay marriage. My questions is why have you cut and run from America? |

Yo, can you move down a couple seats, bruh? I got a large party here, dawg. Thanks, son. It's hot as a @#$% out there, you feel me? Who are they? Oh, they're my homeboys from outta state. The GOP buses them in before elections every couple years to distract voters from important issues. Some people. Gay marriage. Spanish-speakers. Flag burning. For a few months, our leaders pretend they're the most dangerous problems in the world -- more urgent that terrorism, war, gas prices, healthcare, etc.... Once the election's over, they go home. It's seasonal work. Que? got a light? |
