Caption: Eureka! Hide the children and their wallets. I've figured out a solution to the problem of rising health-care insurance costs. Premiums are rising 25% per year but we're getting less coverage. Finally, with my new plan, businesses and consumers can fight back. Ready? As I'll ever be. We need to get 25% more illness and disease. Time to get your money's worth, people. Who wants strep throat? Only $5 a swab. It's come to this.

Caption: Sadie's right about you. Hush up. You're delirious. Your GPS got us lost in the middle of nowhere. You figured your cellphone or internet service could save us and we've got no coverage. When it comes down to it, your precious technology has no real value. Wait, I think it might. We could eat the iPhone. Back off, savages!

Caption: I'm trying to pinpoint the exact moment in history when me were at their most manly. There are hundreds of variables to consider. My initial calculations showed it was the "Greatest Generation" circa 1945 in all the Allied countries. But then I realized I'd forgotten about the high-waisted pants. When I factored that in, they fell a few decimal points behind Genghis Khan's Mongol horde. But then I realized I'd forgotten to carry the "1." Never forget to carry the "1."

Caption: Boss, if you could be any superhero, which one would it be? Insurance-Adjuster-Man. In a world where superheroes were real, there'd be an awful lot of collateral damage to buildings and infrastructure. Insurance-Adjuster-Man would probably clear six figures by breakfast. "Heroes" aren't in it for the money. Of course they are. Take Lex Luthor, for instance ...

Caption: I've figured out why my life is boring. Go on … There aren't any heavy musical cues to amp up the drama, or light melodies that play whenever things are going well. My life has no original score. I don't think that's it, little buddy. You think Danny Elfman's busy?

Caption: You have any baby pictures, Randy? I'm just wondering what you looked like before all those muscles. HOJ. Indeed I do, little buddy. In fact, they were professionally taken. By Sears? By Muscle & Fitness Magazine. I was the centerfold in their infants and toddlers edition. Figures.

Caption: Youtube reviews make me feel old, Randy. Well … they're always full of whining, nitpicky, smug people complaining that the film or tv show wasn’t easy enough to follow. Reviewers complain that characters actions "don't make sense," as if they unaware that people often don't make sense. Or that a scene wasn't "necessary," as if establishing character doesn't matter. They complain that the plot was "confused," but when I was growing up, that just meant the viewer wasn't paying enough attention. It's as if a lot of reviewers want everything spelled out for them so they don't have to actually figure anything out for themselves. Yeah ... definitely sounding old there, my friend. I wish these dumb reviewers would stay off my list of Youtube recommendations.

Caption: Warner Brothers put several whole scenes from "Justice League" up on Youtube. Wrong move. Ruins the mystery. To market a movie like this, one must be a mystery. An enigma. A reserved figure who gives the impression of a beast with rippling muscles lurking just below the veneer of a gentleman. Wait ... isn't that last part from your self-help book "Randy's Guide to Becoming a Mysterious Man"? You'd be surprised at how universally applicable these principles are, little buddy. Anyway, I feel like I've already seen the whole movie. Bored now.

Caption: I tripped just now over by your bathroom. If I took this to court, I could get six figures. But I'll settle out of court for a lifetime supply of free coffee and donuts. We just had a huge earthquake. If you fell, it was probably because of that. You guys failed to think ahead and put in bouncy floors. Get out.

Caption: Federal Agent Murph … just so I get this straight, I'm not a suspect in the potential Russian blackmailing of the president? Of course not. I'm counting on you to cover it. As a journalist. I suspect my superiors are caving to pressure from the White House. My investigation may hit a brick wall. So the press may be our only hope to at least get it all out there. And since the suspect Rudy Park is your old roomie, I figured you'd want to be the one to tail him to Moscow. Then why am I tied up in the back of your van mphmph. Figured you'd like a ride to the airport. You're welcome.

Caption: I just saw you on Youtube they've figured out how to reverse the effects of aging, in mice, with a compound called "Nad Plus." Does it bother you to know you'll be six feet under before the human trials are even don that that I'll still be here? It doesn't bother me at all, because I know it's going to be far too expensive for regular losers such as yourself. Your only hope is to buy a mouse costume and sneak into the lab, loser-boy. Not a bad idea.

Caption: After eating here for years, I've come down with abdominal pain and fatigue. Oh yeah? Also, irritability, sleep problems, headaches, loss of appetite, inexplicable weight loss, vomiting and constipation. Also, it took me three whole hours to figure out my new Apple watch, so chalk me up for learning difficulties. You're not by chance trying to get in one last lawsuit before Trump deregulates everything, are you? Heavens, no. Just feeling a little lead-poisony is all I'm saying.

Caption: Little buddy, I believe you owe me an apology. How do you figure? You're the one who left me rotting in a jail cell! You were my one phone call! What happened to Randy's Friendship Rule #7: "Friends always bail friends out"?! You're forgetting the corollary: "Unless the friend's in jail for something pathetic, like trespassing while playing Pokémon Go." Apology accepted. A huge biker took it the wrong way when I tried to catch a Pokémon that was hiding under his beard.

Caption: Thank you for coming in on your day off, minion. It reflects well on your character. I don't know how you got that impression. I would never force you to come in on your day off. That would be illegal. You said "Come in on your day off. Your job depends on it." Rudy, Rudy, Rudy ... That's just a figure of speech. You went on to say "I mean it. That's not just a figure of speech." That was a figure of speech too.

Caption: Boss, I've got a new idea. I think it'll double - no, triple - our sales. Not again. No, hear me out. This one's great. You know how we've been trying to figure out a way to keep customers from going to Coffee King? Yes. We've paid sweatshops in Foreignvania to post negative Yelp reviews ... We've planted rats in their kitchen ... and we've besmirched their name in many ways. Well here's my idea: why don't we try serving better coffee than them? Where's the fun in that?

Caption: What's your earliest memory, Sadie? You cannot get under my skin, loser. Maybe I can help you figure it out: were people wearing powdered wigs, or were they wearing togas? Did they live in primitive huts or in trees? I'm not listening! Were they standing upright or swimming in primordial sea? You're about to be swimming in primordial soup.

Caption: Sadie, sometimes I get really depressed when I think about how divided we are as a country. You've been here a long time. Maybe you can help me. Are we really more divided now than at any time since the Civil War? I figured you'd be the best person to ask, seeing as how you were there. And is it true Abraham Lincoln had a high-pitched voice? You're going to have a high-pitched voice once I'm through with you.

Caption: Sadie, have you ever known any real-life heroes? Depends. Do you mean "known" in the biblical sense? Because if so, I have quite a few stories to tell. But they're not for those with delicate sensibilities. I retract the question. Would you like to know what both George S. Patton and Mahatma Gandhi had in common? No, I really wouldn't.
