Caption: This touched me, because Rice could've been my own grandson. I'm going to totally ignore that Rice's race has anything to do with why the officers felt so threatened. Rice was tall for his age, so it was reasonable to assume he was older … and it's ok to let an older black person bleed out for four minutes without rendering aid. The Grand Jury felt the officer who shot 12-year-old Tamir Rice was reasonable after I spent months convincing them of that.
