Caption: 1982. Momma says she wants me to be the next Thurgood Marshall. So I asked who that is, and she said he desegregated the schools. And I asked what "desegregated" means, and she said "I'll tell you when you're older." It was at that point that I realized Momma was probably just making up words. What's a "Thurgood"? No, that one makes sense. What has a Thursday ever been bad?

Caption: What's wrong, Lemont? I wish the Supreme Court would make up it's mind. Over the course of 24 hours, there were a few 5-4 decisions. One made it harder for minorities to vote … … But others made it possible for gay couples in California to marry, and for gay married couples to receive federal benefits. Now I don't know whether they're ENLIGHTENED by a margin of 5-4, or BUTTHEADED by a margin of 5-4.

Caption: I'm glad the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act. Wheeze wheeze. Stealing Democracy. Since the Voting Rights Act passed in 1965, things have gotten so much better. Wheeze. Nobody stops blacks from voting, and when they try the courts stop them. Wheeze wheeze. We don't need it any more than I need that inhaler that completely cured my asthma. Wheeze.

Caption: In other news, the Supreme Court has struck down the Defense of Marriage Act. DOMA prevented gay married couples from receiving the same federal benefits as straight couples. The court ruled 5-4 that writing inequality into the federal code was unconstitutional. In unrelated news, the court ruled t5-4 that people need to stop whining about all the 5-4 decisions.

Caption: IN a 5-4 decision, the Supreme Court has ruled that racism is over. In a related ruling they've gutted the 1965 Voting Rights Act. Apparently fifty years of making it harder for former Jim Crow states to prevent minorities from voting seems to have done the trick. What was that, Chad? Oh ... My bad ... The court ruled that NOTICING racism is over. The court has left the NOTICING of noticing racism intact.

Caption: Judge Dubois delivers her decision. Custody cases are rarely this cut and dry. On one hand, we have a father who's suffered from psychotic delusions, has no money, and spends time with unsavory characters … And on the other hand, we have a mother who happens to be my daughter ... We're dead. Whom I personally know to be crazy-making, lying, manipulative, free-loading, and is, herself, the epitome of an unsavory character.

Caption: Hello, Lemont. I just wanted to wish you luck and show you there are no hard feelings. Well … Thanks, Roxanne. In fact, after mother … I mean, the judge … grants me full custody, I promise only to tell our son about your many shortcomings in the most positive light. My attorney tell me I have a good chance, Roxanne. We've given the judge a lot to think about. The judge is ready to rule?! It's only been thirty seconds! We're dead! We're ... Oh. I'm sorry. I didn't see you standing there. How much of that did you ... Maybe I'll do you a favor and not tell him about you at all.

Caption: So the judge ruled out DNA. I still have hundreds of pictures of Lionel and me together that prove I'm his dad. I have pictures of me and the Three Stooges together. Photoshop is so WIN! I miss the '90s. Look: it's me, you and Justin Bieber.

Caption: What's causing my depression? Well, for one, my evil ex-fiancee, who I'm suing for custody. Let's explore exactly how she's mean to you. … and my deadbeat lawyer who's disappeared without a trace just when I need him. Let's explore how he ABANDONED you. ... And my boss won't give me a raise. I'm broke and Roxanne's got old money ... how can I compete with that in court? Let's explore your boss' heartless decision. ... And you had me committed to a sanitarium, so now the judge'll think I'm nuts. It doesn't help to point fingers.

Caption: The guys watch the Olympics. Look at China go! They really have no competition in the "Denying People Their Rights" event. Wait! Team America is surging! Locking people in Guantanamo without access to lawyers! Uh oh… America stumbles! The Supreme Court rules they actually do have rights. WAAIT! THE PENTAGON SAYS EVEN IF A PRISONER'S FOUND "NOT GUILTY," THEY MIGHT NOT RELEASE HIM! WHAT A RECOVERY!

Caption: I'm not gay, I swear. I didn't really divorce my wife and marry Lance the mailman. I made it all up to illustrate how letting gays marry destroys traditional marriage and makes people gay. Lilly and I are still happily married. Repeat that part. It destroys traditional marriage. The other part. It makes people gay?

Caption: You don’t seem surprised to hear that the California Court's ruling turned me gay. I've know you were gay for years, dude. What?! The way you'd freak out about gay people like you were OBSESSED with all things gay. Since when does being continually preoccupied with the same thing to the exclusion of all else make one "obsessed"?

Image Number: 23764
Caption: You left your wife and married Lance the mailman? I had no choice. California legalized gay marriage. Obviously, that meant traditional marriage must die, and we must all turn gay. So instead of waiting for the inevitable, I figured I'd just get it over with now. Some people will do anything to prove a point. Don't tell Lance about me and Arnold.

Caption: See, I was right all along! Letting gays marry ruins the whole institution of marriage! The California Supreme Court ruled that gays can marry just two weeks ago… …and already, I've left my wife and kids and married Lance, the mailman. Say what? @#$% activist judges made me gay.

Caption: The ghost of Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall is haunting Clarence Thomas. No, we have not killed Brown v. Board of Education. In fact, our ruling is based on the principles of Brown, and of Martin Luther King, Jr. We have a dream… …that one day a Black child and a White child can hold hands together... ...provided they can both afford to live near the same school. I'm paraphrasing, of course.

Caption: Clarence Thomas, I am the ghost of Thurgood Marshall. I know. You're here every night. I won Brown v. Board of Education. I desegregated public schools. I know. I became the first Black Supreme Court Justice. Listen, can we skip ahead this time? It's late. You replaced me when-- Further ahead. Um... I am disappointed in you? Further.

Caption: June 29, 2006. In other news, the Supreme Court has ruled that the President cannot do whatever he wants, whenever he wants, even if he says we're engaged in an endless war. You ever had déjà vu? July 4, 1776. What ho! The Continental Congress hath decreed that the King cannot do whatsoever he wanteth, whenever he wanteth, even if he sayeth the empire is engaged in an endless war.
