Caption: I'm stocking up on c canned foods, survival gear and oxygen tanks. Why? Elon Musk. What? He's a billionaire with government connections. Um … ok … and? Don't you see, Susan? He's in a position to know stuff we don't know. He just built an electric truck that's bulletproof, can go off-road, and with the optional solar panels, could keep running even in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Proves nothing. What about the giant space arks he's building? Maybe he's just bored.

Caption: What do you think like will be like in the year 2036? I take it you mean for those of us who survive the upcoming world war? It'll be awesome. We've got 7.7 billion people on earth. That's why too many. But after the autocrats get their war, we'll have maybe 100,000 left. There'll only be a handful of people in any given city. Not counting mutants. I feel like we've had this conversation before, Lemont. The nuclear wasteland is going to have very affordable housing. Dios mio.

Caption: I read your article about how 13,000 or so years ago, an apocalyptic catastrophe cause an ice age that lasted 1,000 years. The Younger Dryas cold period. And 1,000 years later, that ice age suddenly ended, maybe in a single day, causing a global flood. It would explain the sudden disappearance of a lot of megalithic civilizations ... the end of Atlantis ... all the ancient flood myths ... we may have come close to extinction. I'm just saying, there've been worse years. 2018 wasn't that bad, Lemon.

Caption: There's been lots of unexplained shaking and booming noises in the middle of the night - all over the world. Some thing earth's entered a part of space filled with meteors too big to burn up in our atmosphere. Others think governments are building a network of underground bases to save a select few from a coming apocalypse. A lot of people think the world's about to end, Susan. If it were anyone but you, I'd thinking this was a pickup line. For the first time in my life, all my favorite shows got renewed, and now this. It's just my luck.

Caption: The ultra right wing's frantic warnings saved this country from an ANTIFA apocalypse back on November 4th. (Sigh) No, they didn't. ANTIFA was going to try and overthrow the Trump government by violently taking over every street corner in America. (Sigh) No. They weren't. Right. That's 'cause they must've found out we were on to them. I personally showed up with my rifles just in case they tried anything, and that's why none of them tried anything. We stopped it. You're welcome. You didn't stop anyth -- ... They were never going to overthr -- (Sigh) ... Oh, never mind. Show some respect, you're talking to a veteran of November the fourth.

Caption: 1982. You know how people always say "If aliens existed, why haven't they made contact?" Well … what if they have? What if we aren't the ones they're coming to visit? There are at least six species on earth that have a degree of intelligence. Nobody ever stops to think that the aliens may already have a mutual defense treaty with the octopuses. If you don't want to have sushi, just say "I don't want to have sushi." If the apocalypse happens, I just don't want anyone pointing fingers at me.

Caption: You know the Ebola outbreak is still going on? It's still getting worse? The only thing that gives me hope that this isn't the start of the zombie apocalypse … … is the fact that the cable news channels were breathlessly going on about it as if it was the start of the zombie apocalypse. Those people are pretty much ALWAYS wrong about the apocalypses.

So you say you've come from the future in my dreams to warn me about the apocalypse … … So that I can write a story about it for the Ancient Maya Gazette, and prevent it from ever happening. That's thoughtful of you. Don’t mention it. Wait ... So you don't want me too warn people? What? What?
